The ShibataFenderTeam Group is a leading international fender manufacturer with 60+ years of group experience in fender production, +130,000 fenders in service, and 100+ years of experience in the production of rubber products. Shibata Industrial, headquartered in Japan, is responsible for production and R&D, while ShibataFenderTeam, headquartered in Germany, handles design and sales. The group maintains production facilities for high-quality rubber products, steel panels and foam fenders.

HQ, regional offices and local agents
Besides group functions such as marketing, accounting and HR, the ShibataFenderTeam headquarters in Hamburg has a large sales team handling projects and orders for the EMEA region. The regional offices facilitate the local contact to customers and are located in the US, Malaysia, Spain and The Netherlands. They are supported by a large network of well-established local representatives on six continents. Our cooperation with local agents is based on mutual trust, loyalty and a long and close working relationship. During our biennial Agent Meeting all our agents meet with the sales teams to stay informed on industry developments and to keep up with our high internal quality standards to be the best consultants for our clients. Direct contact between all our employees and partners plays a vital role in our group’s development.

Manufacturing facilities
Providing safety critical fender systems, the ShibataFenderTeam Group has a strong focus on manufacturing all major components in-house, ensuring highest quality and reliability at their own production facilities. Since the early nineties, our German production facility gained expertise in steel fabrication, corrosion protection and HD-PE Sliding Fender Extrusion, and since 2014 we also produce Foam Fenders in this facility.
Our rubber fender manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and Japan have an extensive proven track record of producing high quality rubber fender products.

All staff and partners who are involved during the production of ShibataFenderTeam products are well qualified, frequently trained and further educated to keep up with the latest developments in their specific job.
