ShibataFenderTeam supplies Parallel Motion Fender systems for Port Dover

Since 2011, ShibataFenderTeam has continously supplied fender systems for various berths at the Port of Dover for the ongoing rehabilitation and upgrading programme of Dover Harbour Board. As part of this long-term programme, ShibataFenderTeam supplied a custom-built fender system for berth 7 in September 2015 which was put into operation in December 2015.
The photo shows the stern fender system which consists of 4 large Parallel Motion Fenders functioning together and absorbing the main energy during the berthing process. In addition to the stern fenders, ShibataFenderTeam also supplied the side fenders.
