SPC Cone Fender systems for Tampa, FL, USA

The Eastport Development at the Port of Tampa, FL, USA includes a 400ft long wharf with breasting dolphins, bollards and a hopper platform. The mooring layout facilitates high flexibility to handle different ship types and size as well as cargo weights.

SFT has supplied 7nos. SPC 1600 Cone Fender system for this terminal in cooperation with GLF and Mott MacDonald. The systems are equipped with 10.5’ x 11.5’ closed box steel panels and a unique feature, a safety ladder on the back side of the steel panel.

This project further strengthens SFT’s position with the Port of Tampa, after the recent successful installation at the Mosaic facilities.
