SFT participates at Mauritius Maritime Week

During late January it was time for us to prepare our exhibition wall and marketing material to leave for Mauritius, where ShibataFenderTeam attended the Mauritius Maritime Week 2018, hosted by the Mauritius Port Authority.

The one week event included the 2 days ‘Indian Ocean Ports and Logistics Exhibition and Conference’. The conference speakers addressed in particular challenges and solutions for port operations and shipping in the Indian Ocean region. Our booth was highly frequented by delegates and exhibitors from all areas of the maritime industry and we used this opportunity to not only inform about our world class customized fender solutions, but also to address the many services ShibataFenderTeam offers as a partner: experienced support at an early project stage, a long proven track record in the marine construction industry, and assistance throughout the service life of the fender system.

Mauritius Maritime Week presented Port Louis Harbor as the preferred gateway of the region, serving five main sectors, amongst others, container transshipment. The new Container Terminal, which was part of a Technical Site visit for all delegates, was just recently inaugurated, being equipped with 69 of our Cone Fender Systems .
